Chelsey Hogan is the Owner and CEO of CHI Insurance Agency and has been helping individuals and families navigate insurance since 2008.

A graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Chelsey has built her career around one simple goal: making insurance easier to understand. She specializes in Medicare, individual and family health insurance, life insurance, supplemental coverage, and Social Security education.

Chelsey believes the best client relationships start with listening. She takes the time to understand each person’s situation, explain their options clearly, and help them feel confident in the decisions they make.

At CHI, she is passionate about creating an agency that feels personal, educational, and dependable for both clients and agents.

Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their two daughters, Olivia and Amelia.

Her philosophy is simple: Making Insurance Make Sense.

And one last thing: rumor has it, Chelsey and Batman have never been seen in the same room.

Laura Chastain

Laura Chastain is a dedicated consumer advocate with more than 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. Since 2003, she has been passionate about helping clients make informed choices to protect their health and financial security.

Laura began her career alongside her husband, Greg, working from their home office and building the Chastain Agency on a foundation of personal service, trust, and lasting relationships. While Greg has since retired, Laura is proud to continue that tradition today at The CHI Agency, working alongside her daughter, Chelsey Hogan, owner of the agency.

After enjoying a period of partial retirement, Laura is excited to once again be fully engaged in the business she loves. This new chapter allows her to reconnect with previous clients and families she has had the privilege of serving over the years, while also welcoming new clients to The CHI Agency. For Laura, it is a return to what she has always enjoyed most—building relationships, helping people understand their options, and being a trusted resource when important decisions need to be made.

Laura specializes in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, prescription drug coverage, Social Security, long-term care planning, individual health insurance, life insurance, and other solutions designed to help protect individuals and families throughout different stages of life. Her approach has always centered on education and personal service. She believes clients deserve clear information, individual attention, and the confidence to make decisions that are right for them.

Family remains at the heart of Laura’s life. She and Greg live in Cleveland, Georgia, and are the proud parents of two children. Their daughter, Chelsey, and son-in-law, Jason, are parents to Olivia and Amelia. Their son, Jordan, and daughter-in-law, Kelsey, are parents to Bennett and Reese—and the family is excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first grandson, bringing the family to five grandchildren and their very first little boy.

For Laura, working alongside Chelsey at The CHI Agency makes this chapter especially meaningful. What began more than two decades ago as a family insurance business now continues into the next generation, with the same emphasis on relationships, education, integrity, and personal service.

Jessica Thomas

Jessica brings a strong foundation in business, organization, and relationship-building to her role at CHI Insurance Agency. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and enjoys being part of the ever-changing insurance industry, where she continues to expand her knowledge while helping support clients and the CHI team.

Jessica values the opportunity to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships while working in an industry centered around helping people protect what matters most to them.

Outside of work, Jessica is a wife and mother of two with a passion for homesteading. Her family cares for quite the crew—including chickens, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, guinea fowl, dogs, and a cat. She says homesteading has taught her plenty about hard work, responsibility, adaptability, and finding joy in the everyday moments.

A resident of Habersham County for more than 20 years, Aaron is proud to be deeply connected to his community. He and his wife, Kendall—a local elementary school teacher—are raising their daughter, Aubrey, in the same area where they’ve built strong family and community ties

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, camping, and serving in his church. He believes that professionalism paired with kindness and understanding is the foundation for building lasting trust with his clients.

Rylee began her career in healthcare, studying radiologic technology at Lanier Technical College after attending Kennesaw State University. While in school, she worked at an imaging center, where she gained firsthand experience in patient care and developed a passion for helping others navigate their healthcare journey. She later became a licensed insurance agent and enjoys helping clients feel confident and comfortable when making decisions about their healthcare coverage.

Rylee enjoys making memories with her family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Stormy. She loves building relationships with those around her and making sure that everyone feel supported and cared for throughout the process.

Lesly Reyes

Lesly brings over 10 years of experience in customer service and account/agency management, along with a true passion for helping others. Born and raised in Gainesville, GA, she will be supporting clients throughout both the Georgia and Florida markets.

As a first-generation Mexican American, Lesly is especially passionate about connecting with and serving the Hispanic community—making sure her clients feel understood, supported, and confident every step of the way.

Patricia Anderson

I am a proud Northeast Georgia native, born and raised in beautiful White County, where my roots run deep. Family has always been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I have been married for over 30 years and am blessed with six beautiful grown children, five of whom are married. I am also a proud grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren, with another precious grandbaby on the way. My family brings me so much joy, and I treasure every opportunity to spend time with them.

Early in my career, I worked as a loan and mortgage processor, gaining valuable experience in organization, communication, and helping people navigate important financial decisions. Later, I felt led to take a different path and entered the medical field. It was through this experience that I discovered a true passion for working with and caring for the geriatric population.

I spent more than ten years working in the nursing industry, where I developed a deep appreciation for serving others and caring for people during some of the most important and vulnerable seasons of their lives. During this time, I also obtained my Life and Sickness Insurance license and briefly worked in life insurance. One of the most meaningful experiences of my life was having the privilege of caring for both of my parents during their illnesses before their passing. Those experiences strengthened my compassion and gave me an even greater understanding of the importance of planning, protection, and having someone you can trust when life takes unexpected turns.

Outside of work, I enjoy catching up on my Bible journaling, traveling, spending time with my family, and making memories with my Pug, Jasmyn, along with all of my grandpups. I am grateful for the simple moments and the people who make life so special. As I begin this next chapter in my career, I am excited about building a career that allows me to continue helping others while creating something meaningful for my family, friends, and community. My experiences have taught me that caring for people is more than a job; it is a calling. I look forward to bringing that same heart of compassion, service, and personal connection into this new chapter.

Brenda Moriarty

Brenda brings more than 20 years of professional experience to the insurance industry. Her career began with 10 years in the administrative field in Rochester, New York, followed by a rewarding 12-year career as a licensed insurance broker.

What Brenda finds most rewarding is building genuine relationships with her clients. She takes the time to get to know each person, understand their unique needs and circumstances, and provide thoughtful recommendations.

Outside of work, family is at the heart of Brenda’s life. She and her husband, Tim, have been married since 1991 and are grateful parents of two grown children.

Brenda enjoys hosting large family gatherings, traveling, and reading sports autobiographies. She deeply values her family, friendships, and faith. Known for her warm and welcoming personality—and her belief that she has “never met a stranger”—Brenda is proud to call Northeast Georgia home and grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and serve in such a charming community.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Troy State University and brings a strong background in patient care to help individuals and families understand their health insurance choices.

Cindy has been married to her husband, Dale Hope, for 10 years and carries the same compassion and grace she shows her loved ones into every client relationship.

Brandy Daniel

Agriculture has been a part of Brandy’s life from the very beginning. Raised on the family farm with her sister, she developed a strong appreciation for hard work, community, and the people who dedicate their lives to feeding and clothing the world.

Brandy comes to CHI after spending more than 15 years at White County Farmers Exchange, where she built lasting relationships with farmers, members, employees, industry representatives, and community partners. Her family roots and career have taught her the importance of listening, understanding individual needs, solving problems, and being someone people can count on.

Now, Brandy is bringing those same values into her new career as an insurance agent at CHI. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate their health insurance options, especially Medicare, so they can make informed decisions and feel confident about their coverage. Her approach is simple: listen first, explain things clearly, and genuinely care about helping people find the right solution for their needs.

When she’s not in the office, Brandy enjoys gardening, helping on the family farm, managing Daniel Junction Farmstand with her sister, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys training with her dog, Sunni, and making memories with Blue, Lucy, and Roxi.

Brandy’s deep family roots and strong connection to agriculture remain an important part of who she is and continue to shape the way she serves others—with honesty, integrity, and personal attention.

Andrew Thomason

Andrew Thomason is an Insurance Agent with The CHI Agency who brings decades of leadership, relationship management, and community service experience to helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. His approach is built on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people he serves.

Before entering the insurance industry, Andrew spent many years as a director of a respected youth camp, where he developed lasting relationships with families, community leaders, and professionals throughout North Georgia and beyond. He later served as a project manager for a large commercial construction company, overseeing complex projects, teams, and client relationships. Together, these experiences strengthened the leadership, communication, attention to detail, and accountability he brings to every client relationship today.

Andrew’s commitment to others also extends into his community. He serves as a Board Member of the Knox Martin Foundation for Brain Cancer Research and the Jarrard Burch Foundation, reflecting his longstanding dedication to philanthropy, community involvement, and giving back to the Gainesville community he calls home.

He takes the time to understand each client’s needs and priorities, then provides clear, dependable guidance to help them make informed decisions with confidence. For Andrew, insurance is about more than policies—it is about protecting the families, businesses, assets, and futures his clients have worked hard to build.

A North Georgia native, Andrew is a proud husband to his wife, Maggie, and father to their three children - Patton, Laney and Mary Rogers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and their yellow Lab, Charlie.
